It is with deep sadness that we learn of the passing of Patrick Lynch, Lakeside Park, Newbridge, formerly of Raheens and Caragh, who passed away suddenly at home on 23rd February 2026. 

Patrick will be sadly missed by his loving sons Kenneth and Declan, his daughter Amanda, their mother Alice, and his extended family and many friends. 

Patrick was a proud Raheens man — a former player and a valued member of the club’s successful Minor panel from 1971 to 1973. He remained a lifelong supporter of Raheens and Kildare GAA, and his connection to the club endured long after his playing days. 

The thoughts and heartfelt sympathies of everyone at Raheens GAA/LGFA are with Patrick’s family, friends, and all who knew him at this very difficult time.
