Raheens GAA/LGFA extends its deepest sympathies to his wife Esther, daughter Sarah, and all his extended family and friends on the sad passing of Larry Byrne. 

Larry was a familiar and much-loved face throughout our community, serving as the local postman for over 30 years. His friendly smile, warm chat and willingness to help made him a true friend to so many. Whether delivering the post or stopping for a conversation, Lar brightened the day of everyone he met and was held in the highest regard across Caragh and the surrounding area. 

His passing is a great loss to our community, and he will be remembered with great affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Esther, daughter Sarah, and all his extended family and friends at this very difficult time.
